About these terms
These terms are between you and Trident Labs Ltd (we, us, Trident Labs), a company registered in England and Wales with its registered office at 159 Maidstone Road, Felixstowe, Suffolk.
By placing an order you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not order.
What we sell
We sell two things, by mail order, within the United Kingdom:
- At-home blood test kits — in-vitro diagnostic devices, with laboratory analysis and a written report.
- Food supplements — regulated as foods, not medicines.
We also publish free educational content in the library.
We do not sell prescription-only medicines, controlled drugs, or unlicensed or investigational compounds, and we will not do so. See Standards & Compliance for the detail.
Not a medical service
Trident Labs provides verified research compounds, diagnostic blood test kits, and nutritional supplements manufactured to stringent purity standards.
Our blood tests measure and report biochemical markers. They are not a clinical diagnosis and do not replace medical advice. Results should be evaluated alongside your broader health context.
Nothing on this website is medical advice. Content in the library is general information, not advice about your circumstances, and must not be used to self-diagnose or self-treat. Always consult a qualified clinician about your own health.
If you feel seriously unwell, contact your GP, call NHS 111, or in an emergency call 999.
Eligibility
To order you must:
- be aged 18 or over;
- be ordering for yourself, or for someone who has asked you to;
- provide a UK delivery address; and
- give accurate contact and delivery details.
Some panels are not appropriate during pregnancy or while taking certain medication. Product pages flag this where it applies, but the decision to test is yours.
Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we confirm that we have received your payment, not when you submit the order. Until then we may decline the order — for example if an item is out of stock or the details are incomplete.
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies. We take reasonable care to price accurately; where an item is obviously mispriced we will contact you before proceeding rather than fulfil or cancel unilaterally.
Payment
Bank transfer is our only payment method. We do not accept cards and we do not hold payment details.
You will be given our account details and a payment reference when you place your order. Please quote the reference — it is what links your payment to your order.
Orders are held for 5 working days pending payment and released if it does not arrive. Goods are dispatched only once funds have cleared.
Paying by bank transfer means you do not have card chargeback rights, and Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 does not apply. Your statutory rights against us under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 are unaffected. Full detail is in Shipping & Returns.
Delivery
We deliver within the United Kingdom only. Delivery estimates run from the day payment clears. Estimates are estimates; where delivery is materially delayed we will tell you and you may cancel for a full refund.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the address you gave us. Please make sure that address is correct — we cannot recover a parcel sent to an address supplied in error.
The testing service
When you buy a test kit you are buying a testing service: a kit, laboratory analysis of the sample you return, and a report.
- Results are reported against the analysing laboratory's reference intervals for its own methods. Ranges differ between laboratories and are not directly comparable.
- A result is a measurement at a point in time. Many markers vary considerably day to day, and several depend on collection timing.
- We do not interpret your results for you, diagnose, or advise on treatment. The report is written to be taken to your GP.
- Collection is your responsibility. If a sample cannot be analysed we will replace the kit free of charge, as set out in Shipping & Returns.
Supplements
Supplements are foods, not medicines. They are not intended to prevent, treat or cure any disease, and every health claim on this site is one of the authorised GB claims, quoted as written.
Supplements are not a substitute for a varied diet or for prescribed medication. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking prescribed medicine or managing a diagnosed condition, speak to your GP or pharmacist before starting one. Do not exceed the stated dose.
Cancellation and refunds
You have 14 days from receiving an order to cancel it, subject to the sealed-goods exception for unsealed test kits and opened supplements. Faulty, damaged or misdescribed items are refunded or replaced regardless.
The full policy, including how refunds are paid, is in Shipping & Returns and forms part of these terms.
Your obligations
- Give accurate details, and keep your contact details current.
- Follow the collection instructions supplied with your kit.
- Keep kits and supplements out of reach of children.
- Do not resell our products.
- Do not rely on a result in place of medical advice, or delay seeking help because you are waiting for one.
Liability
We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that, we are not liable for loss arising from decisions you take about your health on the basis of a test result without clinical advice; from a sample collected other than in accordance with the instructions; from delays caused by postal services outside our control; or from any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability in respect of an order will not exceed the amount you paid for it.
Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it. The version number and date at the top of this page record the current one.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
